So, the weekend has arrived, and it’s a lineup for some insane weather & events! It will officially kick off for us tonight when we pick the boys up at the airport, and for you tomorrow if you dont sleep on the instore from 12-2 at Moms Sweet Shop! The super Limited Editiong Laced/Honorable/Moms collabo tee is soooo dope and we cant wait to show it to you! Also, we’ll be premiering Jake & Smolik’s line– Laced clothing in the store, so you dont want to miss it. There’s no telling where we’ll head after that; there’s so much going on tomorrow around the Banks. It’s a great weekend to be here!!
By the way, for any under age skaters participating in Sundays LACED & FLOODED benefit skate contest, we’re trying to get that liability waiver on the web ASAP, so keep checking back on here (facebook as well)…..but please know, if your parents can not make it to the contest–the waiver must be accompanied by a parental note (see waiver). Thanks in advance for everyone who comes out to support this event. It has a great cause! And dont forget….BBQ plates, hot dogs & drinks for sale!

Honorable, in conjunction with LACED Clothing, proudly presents the “LACED & FLOODED” benefit Skate Jam. With kind donations from many local and industry businesses, we hope to make this a super sick event you will definitely not want to miss! Kicking off the weekend, will be a special instore meet and greet with Jake Brown and Peter Smolik from 12-2pm on Saturday, October 8th, at Moms Sweet Shop in Kill Devil Hills. They will be premiering LACED as it hits the racks at Moms with a limited run, exclusive release of our LACED x Honorable collabo shirt. Make sure to stop by and check the ol’ boys out, and to pre-register for the Skate Jam which is on Sunday.
Day-of registration for the contest on Sunday, October 9th will be from 11am-12:30pm and the contest will begin at 1:00pm sharp. The contest is planned for Kitty Hawk Skate Park (on W. Kitty Hawk Rd). There is a $10 entry fee, and with wristband, contestants EAT FREE. There will be two age brackets of 16 & under/ 16 & up for the game of SK8, and a street-league style best run contest. Lots of sick prizes donated by 158 Surf & Skate, and a mad amount of industry goodies that Will was able to round up. Lucky 12 Tavern has been generous enough to donate the cooker, Pig and all fixins for a killer Pig Pickin’, and the BBQ plates will be sold to raise more money for the OBRF. The Bad Bean Baja Grill will also be joining us with a fresh juice bar, and some snack attack treats….for those who need an extra boost, Monster will be flooding us with plenty of ginseng and taurine. Proceeds from the LACED & FLOODED contest will be donated to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation, to assist those affected during the recent flooding associated with Hurricane Irene. If you live on the Outer Banks, you already know the devastation & destruction this flooding caused to so many local homes. We really hope you will help us spread the word and come out to support this worthwhile cause…plus, it’s going to be a rad time!
